NEIGHBOURHOOD FORUM

Neighbourhood Forums have replaced Area Panels.

Area Panel 2 covered several wards, but the Neighbourhood Forum is specific to Chellaston and Shelton Lock.  Its purpose is to:
- Discuss and raise concerns at a local level
- Help identify and agree key priorities for action
- Enable involvement and participation of residents

There will now be at least four meetings per year to cover both Shelton Lock and Chellaston.  Due to the poor attendance  at the Shelton Lock venue, all meetings will now be held at Chellaston School.  Public participation is essential in making them a success

In addition, the Neighbourhood Board will meet quarterly.  For details of the function and responsibilities, please click here.   Public access to these meetings is on the basis of 'observation only'.

A provisional list of meeting dates can be found here, but this is currently subject to change.
